Seen on The Real Housewives of New York City
If you came here from the show: yes, those are mine. Three of them hang in Erin Lichy's Tribeca apartment. Here's which ones, and what I have that's close.
The three in the apartment
- Pendulum (No. 052, 6ft x 5ft, 2018) — black thrown over white. The one visible in season one of The Real Housewives of New York City.
- Never Enough (No. 038, two panels, 6ft x 5ft) — the black-and-white diptych over the bed in E! Online's tour, February 2023.
- No. 040 (10ft x 4ft diptych, 2025) — went there from the Mezcalum office wall and is due on the show next.
All three have found their homes. The whole story is in the Journal.
Available now, in the same vein
Black poured and flung over white, made the same way on the same floor:
- No. 034 — two panels, 8ft x 3ft, $3,150. The nearest thing to No. 040 I have.
- Black & White Geometry — 3ft x 4ft, $2,000.
- No. 043 — 5ft x 3ft, 2018, black strokes with red and yellow, $2,000.
- No. 049 — red on white, 5ft x 3ft, 2018, $2,000.
- No. 048 — white over black, 20 x 24 inches, 2018, $950.
Or one made for your wall
No. 040 was made to fit one wall. I'll do the same for yours — size, palette, half down, four to eight weeks. Commissions.
First look at new work
I finish a few pieces a month and the big ones tend to go to whoever asks first. Email charles.s.black@gmail.com with "first look" and you'll hear about new work before it's listed.
