Black poured and flung onto a white ground across two abutted panels — eight feet of wall, three feet tall. Long looping arcs run the full length and break into fine spatter where the paint left the stick; a few passes of white sit on top of the black, so the ground reads as worked rather than blank. No colour anywhere. The proportion is the point: it runs a full foot wider than a standard sofa, which is the hardest thing to buy and the easiest thing to live with.
