Black on white across two panels, 6ft x 5ft, 2018. Long swinging strokes that cross and double back — the title is the motion. I painted it in my childhood bedroom, which is where the first photos of it were taken, hung over the dresser. It found its home in Erin Lichy's Tribeca apartment, over the bed, and it's the piece you can see in E! Online's tour of the place from February 2023.
