We go and find the buyers. You keep making work.

ABB Collective is open to independent artists making original painting, drawing, and works on paper. The problem we're built to solve is the one most artists actually have — not the size of a gallery's cut, but having nowhere to sell at all.

What you get

• The majority of every sale. You set your own prices. The split is agreed with you and put in writing before anything sells, and we never mark your work up without telling you.
• Your rights stay yours. You keep copyright and all reproduction rights, permanently. We license nothing.
• Buyers you can't reach alone. Hotels and restaurant groups, property developers and staging companies, corporate art programs, event and production companies, interior designers and art consultants. These are people who hang art constantly and have no good way to buy an original.
• Your work gets hung, not stored. We place work into restaurants, cafés, lobbies and offices at no cost to the venue. It hangs where hundreds of people see it, labelled so anyone can buy it on the spot. A painting on a wall sells; a painting in a rack does not.
• No fees, ever. No dues, no submission fees, no hanging fees, no “opportunity” that costs you money. If you ever get asked to pay us, something has gone wrong.
• The commercial work handled. Listings, photography guidance, payment processing, shipping logistics, contracts, and client communication.
• Sell direct too. Your own sales, studio visits, and commissions are entirely yours. We take nothing on those.

What we ask

• Original work only — no prints or reproductions
• Accurate inventory: if it sells elsewhere, tell us the same day
• Ship within five business days of a sale
• Clear photographs and honest dimensions
• Participate in at least one group show or fair a year

How to apply

Send 8 to 12 images of recent work, an artist statement, your website or Instagram, and where you're based, to artists@abbcollective.com. We review monthly and reply either way.

We're deliberately small. We'd rather have twenty artists we can actually sell for than two hundred we can't.
